Dennis Stanley began his fire service career in 1989, eventually landing his dream job with the Seattle Fire Department in August 1999, serving with distinction until his termination in December 2021. As a Hazardous Materials technician, he spent over a decade as a senior member of Seattle's elite HAZMAT team, Unit 77, where he also served as one of SFD's Staff 10, responsible for the department's staffing of nearly 1,000 firefighters. His role placed him in not only one of the most technical areas of the fire service but also at one of the nation's busiest firehouses, Station 10.

Dennis married his high school sweetheart, Nikkoly Stanley, in 1994. Together, they are the proud parents of five beautiful daughters: Ashley (35), Rabekah (30), Bethany (27), Kateziah (23), and Gabriella (21). They are also the grandparents of Ryleigh (8), Jesse Bob (4), and Caleb (3).
Dennis is known for his hard work, sharp intellect, and his love for his crew and family. He's also one of the best firehouse chefs around.

His termination from the Seattle Fire Department, while heartbreaking, couldn't stop his desire to serve. He has taken his skills to Hardin County, Tennessee, serving that community with distinction.
